COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA (MAOIST)

Strongly condemn the arrest of Comrade Kisanda (Prashanth Bose) and Sheela Marandi as Member of the Central Committee, Member of the Political Bureau, responsible member of the ERB!
Our Central Committee strongly condemns the arrest of Comrade Kisanda (Prashanth Bose) and MK member Sheela Marandi on 11 November in Saraikela, Jharkhand. Comrade Kisanda is 76 years old, suffering from eye problems, prostate, diabetes, etc. He was arrested while he was undergoing treatment.
These arrests are part of the barbaric Samadhan-Prahar military campaigns with the aim of suppressing the Indian revolutionary movement and transforming India into Brahmanic Hindutva fascism. Our comrades have been arrested by cruel intelligence units as part of this genocidal Prahar Campaign. Comrade Kisanda and Sheeia Marandj participated in the Indian revolution, became life partners and stood firm in the revolutionary movement that continues to fight against the imperialists, the exploitation and oppression of the comprador bureaucratic bourgeois and feudal class. They organized different segments such as Dalit, Adivasi, peasants, workers, women and minorities in the movement and solved their problems.
Comrade Kisanda joined the revolutionary movement during his student days during the rise of Naxaibari in 1966-67. He led the working class movement in Kolkata. While in Desh, Dakshin went to Assam to build the movement. After some time he took charge in Bihar and Jharkhand and this continued until his arrest. Meanwhile, he became the General Secretary of MCCI and continued in this responsibility until the establishment of the CPI (Maoist). He was a dedicated and hardworking staff and leader. He held the high banner of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and the red banner of proletarian internationalism. He played a key role many times.
Comrade Sheela dee was born in a poor adivasi family. He joined the revolution and became a member of the Central Committee step by step. She played a key role in the women's movement in Jharkhand. He was in prison from 2006-2015.
In the previous incident, the government conspired to kill Comrade Varunda (Sushil Roy), a member of the Political Bureau. He kept him in prison without humane treatment until his death. The government does not treat these comrades with dignity, because the Brahamanic Hindutva fascist forces are openly serving imperialism and unleashing their terror on the people, revolutionary, movement, intellectuals, democrats and all sections of the people. That's why we appeal to everyone: Nationalities, working class unions, progressive forces, patriots and human rights organizations in India and abroad, raise your voice against this brutal inhumanity. Demand better treatment and improvement of all conditions for political prisoners under the supervision of specialist doctors. Comrades Kisanda and Sheeiade should be released on grounds of age and health. They must attend court with the help of their family and friends.
