Defend the life, physical and mental integrity of Comrade Miriam!
No to the impunity for the murder of President Gonzalo!
With intense communist solidarity we express our deep concern for the life and physical and mental integrity of teacher Elena Yparraguirre Revoredo, comrade Míriam, and we make our complaint for the measures against her integrity that Peruvian State is implementing in retaliation for the denunciation of the assassination of her husband Abimael Guzmán Reinoso, our Chairman Gonzalo. We denounce that in addition to the confinement of Comrade Miriam in a small and isolated cell, it is added that they have placed as a companion an inmate with psychiatric problems and an aggressive history who attacked another inmate with a knife on a previous occasion. It is a vile provocation and a real threat against the life and integrity of our comrade, which we reject with total indignation.
We summon the highest authorities to intervene and order the elimination of such a provocation and threat immediately and to guarantee the physical and mental integrity of Elena Yparraguirre Revoredo. We hold the highest civil, military and police authorities responsible for the consequences that may result against comrade Elena, and we reject the impunity against the assassination of Chairman Gonzalo and the nefarious attempt to file the complaint by the prosecution.
We call on the democratic and revolutionary organizations of Perú and the world to denounce and demand in defense of the life and physical and mental integrity of comrade Elena, and against impunity for the assassination of Dr Abimael Guzmán Reinoso.
