Punishment of democrats is part of the Hindutva forces’ partisan measures
Comrades and friends Teesta Setalwad, Mohammad Zubair, Himanshukumar and Rupesh are not alone. We are all with you.
In the last two months, the activities of party violence are happening rapidly in the country. These are the latest examples of intolerance of Hindutva forces. Social activist Teesta Seetalvad, who on the one hand gave a clean chit to Modi for the massacre of thousands of Muslim brothers in Gujarat in 2002 and on the other hand sought the punishment of social activist Teesta Seetalvad, who sought the court to punish the culprits, and also demanded an independent probe into the massacre in which 16 people were shot dead by the police in a fake encounter in Dantewada district during Operation Green Hunt in 2009. Prominent Gandhian and Adivasi Hitaishi Mitra not only dismissed Himanshu Kumar’s petition, but the country’s highest court awarded him Rs. 5 lakh fine. In case of non-payment, he was sentenced to two years imprisonment. In June, Alt News journalist Mohammad Zubair was arrested in a lawsuit filed four years later over a tweet he posted in 2018. Recently, independent journalist Rupesh Kumar was arrested by the police in Jharkhand. All these actions are being carried out by the state as a part of the suppression of Hindutva forces. These actions are strongly condemned by the Central Regional Bureau of our party Communist Party of India (Maoist).
Mithru Himanshu Kumar was willing to serve two years of imprisonment without paying the fine, despite his serious illness, as his own witness believed that he was innocent. He is questioning the Indian ruling elites. He is successively criticizing the ruling class in his Facebook diary. He is a faithful friend to the natives of this country. He wants to be placed in Jaggalpur Jail among the tribals and given the opportunity to spend the rest of his life among them.
But let us protect him. He is innocent. The natives of this country have already lost Father Stanswamy, a trusted friend to the intrigues of the kingdom.
Himanshu should not be allowed to do so. Let us unite with those who are clamoring from Dantewada to Delhi to cancel the fine imposed on him by the Supreme Court and condemn it more strongly on Vishwa Mulavasi Day (9th August).
Journalist friend Rupesh Kumar is adamantly campaigning against the fact that the forests of this country are becoming a home for corporatization and militarization. In the past few years, especially as part of the ongoing Operation Samadhaan military campaign in the country, the detention of tribal well-wishers in false cases has intensified and accelerated. In 2018, Mahesh Raut from Gad Chiroli district (Maharashtra), lawyer Surendra Gadling from Nagpur, Sudha Bharadwaj who stood firmly on the side of Chhattisgarh adivasis, Father Stan Sami Munguvarin, who is very close to the natives of Jharkhand, were implicated in the false case of Bhima Koregam and many people were jailed. Our bureau is calling on the indigenous people to protest against the conspiracies and attacks of the corporate groups to seize the forests of this country and to suppress the voices questioning them.
With revolutionary greetings
Pratap,
Representative
