Revolutionary Greetings to the 5th National Congress of the Proletarian Party of Purbo Bangla (PBSP/Bangladesh)!
Dear Comrades
With great enthusiasm, we extend our warmest revolutionary greetings on behalf of our party TKP-ML, to the comrades of the Proletarian Party of East Bengal (PBSP/Bangladesh) on the successful conclusion of their 5th National Congress.
At a time when the international and regional reactionary forces are intensifying their attacks against the working class, peasantry and all oppressed peoples, the PBSP’s determination to hold its Congress despite numerous difficulties is a testimony to its deep-rooted revolutionary determination. The successful organization of this Congress despite the difficulties created by the fascist repression of the Hasina-Awami regime, the manipulations of the imperialist powers and the recent socio-political turmoil underscores your party’s commitment to the path of People’s War and proletarian internationalism.
We salute the comrades who worked tirelessly to prepare the political, ideological and organizational foundations for this Congress. The Congress reaffirmed your party’s commitment to the path of the People’s War and the necessity to liquidate comprador capitalism, feudalism and imperialist domination. The adoption of key documents such as the Political Report, the Program Document, the Military Strategy and the analysis of Chinese social imperialism strengthens the Party’s theoretical and practical basis for advancing the revolution.
The Congress’ critical assessment of the fall of the Hasina-Awami fascist regime and the rise of the so-called “transitional government” highlights the sharpening contradictions within the ruling class. As reactionary forces seek to impose new configurations of bourgeois rule, the PBSP remains committed to exposing reformist illusions and advancing the New Democratic Revolution. A clear definition of the class character of the new regime and the rejection of opportunist alliances is essential to preserve the independence of the proletarian movement.
We highly regard the decision to commemorate the martyred comrades whose sacrifices paved the way for the revolutionary movement. The recognition of the martyrs, including those killed in state-organized “crossfire” operations and those who perished in the struggle, is a solemn reminder of the heavy price paid in the search for liberation. Their legacy will continue to guide the proletarian struggle in East Bengal and beyond.
We also express our solidarity with the Party’s position on international struggles. Your Congress’ strong condemnation of the genocide of the Zionist Israeli state in Palestine, its steadfast support for the resistance of the Palestinian people, and its firm stand against Hindutva-fascist aggression in India demonstrate a principled commitment to proletarian internationalism. The call for a united front against imperialism, revisionism and reaction is a valuable contribution to the global revolutionary movement and is crucial in building a proletarian internationalist front. The adoption of a resolution in the same matter at the 2nd congress of our party is an indication of the ideological convergence of the vanguard parties of the international proletariat.
Comrades, the road ahead is full of challenges, but the determination and ideological clarity displayed at this congress confirms that the forces of revolution in East Bengal will grow stronger. The lessons learned from the congress will undoubtedly serve future struggles both in Bangladesh and in the broader South Asian revolutionary movement.
As revolutionary movements around the world intensify their resistance to imperialist plunder, capitalist exploitation and reactionary repression, we stand in militant solidarity with the PBSP. Again, on behalf of our party, we salute you, in the belief that your Fifth National Congress will accelerate mass mobilization, deepen ideological unity and pave the way for greater advances in the struggle for socialism!
