On the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the TKP-ML
To the Communist Party of Turkey-Marxist-Leninist (TKP-ML)!
Dear comrades!
We salute and congratulate you, the entire communist (Marxist-Leninist-Maoist) movement, and the revolutionary and toiling masses in your country on the glorious occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of your Party. Your Party’s five decades of courageous struggle have been a source of inspiration and courage for revolutionary communists worldwide. Your Party has paid enormous sacrifices in the trenches of revolutionary struggle and has courageously hoisted the banner of MLM during a period of the ebb of the revolutionary communist struggle internationally. We should celebrate this experience to reaffirm our commitment to continue and re-energize our struggle until final victory. We are confident your fifty-year struggle has enriched the arsenal of people’s struggle against the Turkish fascist state; we are sure this will eventually succeed in the new democratic and socialist revolution in Turkey-North Kurdistan.

Today the world is crying for revolution and change. The capitalist-imperialist system is in deep crisis and is every day creating new social, political, and environmental catastrophes and offloading its cost on the masses and planet earth. The masses are revolting everywhere, and the objective situation for peoples’ wars and proletarian revolutions is ripe in many parts of the world. However, the subjective factor is lagging.
The international communist movement must learn from previous experiences and intensify its struggle to meet the immediate tasks of the revolutionary communist struggle. It is the urgent responsibility of the international communist movement to form an international organization of the MLM organizations and parties. Achieving such unity at the international level is the need of the day and will allow the international Maoist movement to meet its responsibilities better. It will enable closer working relationships between MLM parties and organizations and will positively impact the development and growth of revolutionary vanguards in each country. Historically, your Party and the Turkish Maoist movement have played a significant role in the development and growth of the international Maoist movement. We hope our parties and the international MLM movement let no stone unturned to advance toward this goal collectively.
Dear comrades,
The relationship between our parties is imperative for another reason. The peoples in both our countries have deep cultural and historical relationships. The growth of the revolutionary movement in one country will have a significant favorable influence on the other. With acknowledgment of this matter and realizing the importance of the relevance of our experiences for each other, we are interested in strengthening close cooperation and relationship between our parties to learn from each other’s experiences. We hope the 50th anniversary of your Party will become a new milestone in advancing the revolution in Turkey and re-energizing our international efforts in meeting the urgent tasks of the day.
