DOWN WITH THE GENOCIDAL POLICY OF THE ZIONIST GOVERNMENT OF ISRAEL!
The signatory Communist Parties, committed to the task of regrouping the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist forces, speak out in solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people and denounce the genocide that the Israeli Zionist government applies in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
In recent years, as part of its regional war of plunder, the Zionist government has continued to invade Palestinian land, installing its settlers, desecrating mosques, carrying out racist pogroms, arresting and torturing thousands including minors and children, intensifying its aggression against the people of Hamas -ruled Gaza, a region encircled and militarily controlled by the Israeli government.
But where there is oppression there is resistance. Thus, the Palestinian resistance carefully prepared and developed the forceful military action on October 7th by hitting vital military centres, causing more than 1200 Israeli casualties, and taking more than 200 military and civilian hostages. This action is part of the anti-imperialist struggle and has hit the imperialist and reactionary front hard.
The Zionist army mobilized hundreds of thousands of reservists to invade the Gaza Strip, where more than two million Palestinians live in a territory that only covers 365 km2, with the order to exterminate them because, they say, “they are animals” and “they must be treated as such.”
They carried out a criminal blockade of food, water, energy, then cowardly bombings, murdering more than six thousand children and four thousand women, attacks on schools, hospitals, mosques, refugee centres and on the ruins, they launched their land invasion, continuing the killings even of babies in hospitals.
The firm Palestinian resistance made up of various organizations and their militias has continued unabated with tunnel wars and street wars in Gaza, the W est Bank and East Jerusalem, and according to Israeli figures, more than a hundred soldiers have been annihilated, including generals of the Zionist army. Furthermore, the Hezbollah guerrilla organization from Lebanon attacks on the northern front, and other militias from Syria, Iraq, and Yemen attack bases of North American imperialism.
The solidarity of the people of the world through immense popular mobilizations and other actions throughout the five continents has been overwhelming and has generated global public opinion favourable to the Palestinian cause. Global support and solidarity are essential, and we must continue to promote it as part of the anti- imperialist struggle essential to prevent a world war.
The truce reached between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli government to exchange hostages for prisoners and allow humanitarian aid is an achievement of the Palestinian resistance and the people of the world that has stopped the Netanyahu government and his henchmen who did not want any truce but the destruction of Gaza, Hamas and all the resistance. W hen Israel ended the truce, the continuation of the massacres only shows that its extermination plan is still in progress and the only thing left to do is to continue the resistance and show solidarity with it. After two and a half months of monstrous crimes, there are now twenty thousand murdered, of which eight thousand are children and infants.
The genocidal action of the Israeli Zionist government is part of a 75- year war of aggression in which it has occupied Palestinian territory by expelling its population and applying the same fascist practices of the Nazis in W orld W ar II. Since 1967 it has occupied Gaza, the W est Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights, expelling hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, which is recognised by the UN and the international community as “occupied territory”.
Today, the war of prey in the Middle East is once again being fuelled by the same false charges and the s ame real aims: to extend imperialist territorial domination, control the area and seize the region’s rich energy deposits.
The support of the declining hegemonic imperialism of the United States has not been long in coming, as Biden and his Secretary of State have reiterated, feeding Israeli Zionism which does not hesitate to speak of an attack on Iran and the generalisation of war in the region, which, added to the war in Ukraine, would imply a new and serious step towards W orld W ar III whose main contend ers – on the one hand, the United States together with the European Union, England, Japan among others, and on the other, China together with Russia, Iran and others are fighting for world hegemony in the midst of the deep economic crisis afflicting the capitalist system.
There can be no peace until the occupation is ended and the rights of the Palestinian people are recognised. Lasting peace can only be achieved by socialist revolution on the road to communist society.
